Art.....something for every taste

I just visited Sandy's art site: http://sandy-everydayart.blogspot.com/ and got all excited about a couple of links that she posted. I hate the thought of adding any more blogs to my "must read" list, but there are so many cool art sites out there! I have 3 on my links list that I like to visit regularly.

1. Animation Backgrounds is a site that recreates the background art of Disney and Warner cartoons without the characters. It is fascinating to see the beautiful drawings that our eye might miss while we watch the action.

2. le pen quotidien Bambi is a very talented illustrator and I just love some of the clever things she does and her sense of humor. Many of them have a nature theme, but she also has a nice archetectural series, her on-going selection of "pirats", old cars, and lots of other stuff. She did a duck once that I would love to have!

3. sketched out I just recently discoverd this blog and love the sketches and the sense of humor here, also. I particularly liked a recent one of some "lady seeds" sewing.....just my type of humor...and today's is funny, too.

Sandy: I'm sure I will be back to check out more of your links, but boy, I sure don't need any more blogs to read! I can't seem to get anything else done any more.

Nice links, a person could spend lots of time there. I love the art work and the sense of humour in them.

love "sketched out".

I find the level of talent that people have just absolutely amazing. Especially since I seem to be lacking in that area. (sigh)

Everyone likes different types of art and it just amazes me what interesting and clever things are out there on the internet....just like all the wonderful nature blogs! If we all had nothing else to do every day, we could really turn into computer zombies (I'm in danger of that already)! I know there are many more that I would love, but simply have to stop looking for new blog sites to read. But I had been thinking about putting in a good word for these three for some time. I also think all you wonderful photographers should look at and enter photos at Birder Magazine's Photo of the week!
