Squirrel Sunday...And this year's Pole Sitter is.....
It's May! In Indiana that means our thoughts turn to the Indianapolis 500 and the question of who will sit on the pole! Hmmmmmm.........think this guy has a chance????
(It's Simple Sunday for me today, so that's all you get for now)
I have one squirrel that manages to get into every single one of my birdfeeders. I think he went to Harvard! As sandpiper said, that squirrel is quite different looking from our CT squirrels.
Funny post. We have had some visitors at our house near our feeder and under our house! I posted about it in my small world blog......mom was not fond of the last visitors, the armadillos! --JB
Annie: I think all squirrels have PhD's in Feeder Robbing. My squirrels are Fox Squirrels and have orangish bellies and tails (when they are fluffed up). I've posted a lot of other pictures of them, because they are so cute. If you search for squirrel at the top of the blog, you can find a lot of other pics. Feb. 8th had a whole series of pics showing off their color and silly positions.
I've been lifted up on Your wings of love, Raised from the grave of sin and despair, I can soar to the top of Your holy mountain Your wings of grace will carry me there. I will humble myself in Your sight, And bow low to the King of Kings! And wait in joy and hope and peace..... As I'm lifted on grace filled wings. (by Mary Freeman)

This is a cute post (no pun intended, but hey, if it works...) ;-) Your squirrels look so different from ours. I love the picture.
Very funny - and so appropriate.
How adorable. Great pic Mary.
Sandpiper, Birdlady, Sandy: Thanks! Squirrels are always fun to watch, no matter what they do.

Jelly Bean: Armadillos are something I can pretty much count on not getting here :-) Skunks, raccoons, possums...yes.

Thanks, Mosefruen! I find it very limiting, to only choose one photo...but am trying to stick with the idea :-)
