Squirrel Sunday....

This is the story of a squirrel I'll call "Sweet Tooth"."Something smells SWEET! What is it?"
"Is it under here?"

"Must be up higher.......don't look down....just climb"

"Oooooooo.....this is it! Smells like Maple Syrup!"

"Maybe if I hang here and rub my belly on it....."
"I'll just lick it all off the limb.......Ymmmmmmm!"
" She doesn't usually provide any dessert with my meals!"
"What???
Are you telling me that if it was chocolate,
you wouldn't be up here hanging upside down to get it??????
I know better!"

You certainly have a sense of humor and that squirrel is too smart for its own britches!

This is a hoot Mary. Do the squirrels really lick the sap? Love it.

Ruth: I thought I was the only sweet tooth around, until I watched this guy.

April: Thanks! Turtles are fun.

Kathie: Yes, he does tend to be a bit "cheeky".

Becky: I had never seen one do this before, but the sap is the only thing I can think of that was attracting him. He climbed and sniffed all over the tree and then concentrated on that one branch that had sap running on it. I must not be putting enough food out :-)

You just have to add a dessert to the menu!

I just knew there was going to be trouble when I read his name. Hmmm!! I wonder what Star had to say about all this?? LOL!! I hope they realize that dessert is only after a meal has been eaten and not beforehand. :)

You always get great series shots of these playful critters. Usually they move just a little too fast for me and I give up.
