Spring is coming a little bit every day, but I keep waiting for the late frosts we always get. I know from experience that it is too soon for all this spring beauty!

A Robin peeking over the end of the walkway hoping there might be a worm around somewhere.
The Downy....always faithful no matter what the season.
There were 5-6 Juncos in the drive looking for something to eat. 
Some of the Juncos were in the grass with the Cardinal.
"Is there anything down there?" A hopeful sparrow.
The Mockingbird was back, very cautiously sneaking up on the suet feeder.
He likes the one I attach to this roof, so he can sit rather then cling like a woodpecker.
A Red-Wing Blackbird showed up in the crab apple tree.It was a nice day to sit outside and watch the birds.

Hi Mary, Looks like Spring is coming to Indiana--as well as TN. Our Forsythia hasn't bloomed--but we do have Crocus blooms in addition to some Daffodils. AND--the Robins are back all over the place..
Did I tell you that I saw my very first Junco while in Arkansas??? I was so excited.

Beautiful Mary! Of course i love all of the bird shots...but that first one with the bloom against the wood is Gorgeous!
Any signs of spring are most welcome.Sure hope you don't get those late frosts .

I saw my first robins this weekend so spring really is coming;) It will still be a couple weeks before we have forsythia of crocus.

Well, the kids found a dandelion bloom yesterday so it won't be long here...I hope. But like you, I am afraid we will get a late freeze that will hurt stuff.
A very nice day. We have been having rain, and more rain. We are suppose to get some sunshine tomorrow. Then the flowers will really pop out.

I love the mockingbird going up the suet feeder. Great photo. I also love seeing forsythia. We don't get that out here as far as i know, but as a kid in Kansas I loved it, in our backyard.

You have such a faithful bird following Mary. Good to see the Forsythia. Ours doesn't bloom very well. Not enough sun I guess. I looked for Crocus today, but nothing yet. Good to see yours.

Thanks everyone! My forsythis is mainly just blooming on one bush, so far that is in a very sunny location. The rest are still without blooms. Some years, I don't get any! I don't cut them back and that seems to keep them from blooming.
Those little yellow flowers are so pretty. You always have such great shots and so many birds. I got excited when I saw the red-winged blackbird. Now I know the name of the one I saw the other day. :-)
