I just thought I'd say something besides "leftovers" for a change :-)
It seems to be that time of the week, to catch up on the photos that didn't get posted.
I don't think the Robins liked our one inch of snow, but here he sits while looking for something to eat. I don't know what to give them now that the crab apples are gone! I tried cutting up some regular apple, but don't think they ate it.
They hang around the watering hole a lot.
Sitting on one foot here for some reason!
I liked the Dove's feathers all ruffled up in this rear shot. I've been studying the feathers a lot of different birds.
This dove decided a snooze was the thing for a sunny day in the trees.
Mrs. Downy for a change....I usually seem to have the male in my photos.

Oh I disagree, the more pictures the better! Particularly if they are as good as these. Love them all!
Do please tell star that here in Australia he has a following and definitely star rating!
Rottlady: Thanks...but I feel my posts are so long each day!
Arija: That's funny! I'll tell him!
It's never boring Mary! Post away!!
Post away! Your photos are always delightful and not a one has been boring yet.
Always love your bird photos. Yesterday i was at the dentist getting a root canal. To keep my mind off the proceedings I watched out the window where a yellow bellied sapsucker and a white breasted nuthatch kept me entertained

Mary, I can understand why you post so many pictures... They are GOOD. If you post too many photos, then I post too many words. Need to work on that!!! ha
The hardest thing for me is deciding whether the writing about a specific photo is above the photo or below.. I am a lefty--so I always put the writing below --so that someone can read the caption while seeing the photo. BUT--many people do it differently... We are all different, unique individuals, aren't we???
Hugs,
Betsy
Oh,no,never too many photos. Please keep them coming. As for the Robin, have you tried feedeing them raisins. In summer we go through a lot of raisins for the Robins.
Blessings,Ruth
Mary: Those are neat photos and you should contiue to share.
Mary, I'm certainly not complaining about your pictures -- except to wonder how these beautiful pictures fell through the cracks in the first place!
Thank you everyone, but I really wasn't fishing for compliments...I just feel that I make my posts so long and with the same birds over and over! Maybe vacation next month will snap me out of this sense of "same old same old". I need a change of scene!
Ruth: Raisins are a good idea...will go get some! Fairly cheap, too!
These were great! Those are some leftovers! :-D
Like that first robin pic especially. Maybe I should sort through some of my left overs!
I never tire of looking at the birds - in my garden or in your photos. Keep them coming Mary, they're lovely. Love your comments as well.

I love all your photos and I don't think you post too many. I'm the same way. It's hard for me to pick a few and I always want to post them all. Keep posting those photos!
Ditto about your photos Mary. Love 'em! Please carry on. I was going to suggest raisins too. My Blackbirds love them, they also like hard cheese grated or chopped up small, tho you don't want to attract ratty I guess!
I enjoy and love your series of photos! It's nice to see what's going on in your backyard! That bird huddle was too cute - and I just love the Robin! (Maybe the Robin will eat some blueberries or cranberries?)
All your photos are delightful - don't stop.
Such a cool header Mary. I love it!
Don't change a thing. More photos are perfect. You always post such interesting and never before seen birds in my area. Keep em coming!

Thank you everyone. Been gone all evening, so I don't have time for individual comments. Will catch up tomorrow.
Our robins are insect eaters but I notices that during winter when the insects were scarce they came and ate the bread crumbs I put out for the other birds. I love that fluffy dove. :)
I don't think you could post too many pictures....we really enjoy seeing them.
Oh no, keep posting as many as you want. I like coming here and seeing them. I see so many I get inspired by and want to draw, I've saved off several, just haven't gotten around to it.
