The "good news".......the rain stopped!
The "bad news".....someone left a giant snowball in my yard!
Winter found us finally.....not much by the standards that most of you are seeing, but our first dust of snow for the year!
Snow dome, sweet home!
A miniature ski slope for the birds....now where do I get the tiny skiis?
We build the garage with the idea of putting up solar panels, but never did for many reasons. Our house is energy effecient even without the solar panels

You know it didn't look this pretty when I left this morning.
It's just beautiful right after a dusting. Rain rain go away! here in CT. Your home looks so cozy.
Mike: Looked pretty good when I got up, but I could tell it isn't really cold enough to last.
Annie: A dusting is just right...nothing more!
It's nice to see your place Mary. Is that little lake on your property? We're getting snow and ice and snow today...everyone is home because no one should be out.
Eve: Thanks...yes, this small pond touches our property. 5 houses touch the lake and own part of it. I'm standing on the deck looking over the dam which is on our property.
Awww, I'm so sorry about your inclement weather. LOL. Actually I'm really glad it is snowing here again after 2-3 days of gloom and doom and fog and rain!
Your squirrles look like mirror images to the one I saw yeaterday. They're so darn cute.
Have a great rest of the day, and stay warm

Becky: I knew you would laugh at my snow :-) I actually went out looking for photos and it was basically all gone already. However, it snowed the entire time I was trying to take photos just to mess things up for me. I think it is the orangish tail and belly that makes them so cute.
Mary: Those are neat hotos of your snowfall. It does make a nice decoration and everthing is so clean.
Wow, Mary, your yard is the same colour as my yard!! Welcome to winter Canadian style :-)
Fishing Guy: It did look rather pretty.
Ann: Well...I imagine you have a bit more and mine is gone already!
I guess Mike gets up too late and so misses all the good stuff. LOL!! That is the cutest "snowball" I have seen Mary. The temps have really been dancing up and down there. Soon Mary, very soon, litle green buds are going to be popping out everywhere. :)
Joan: Actually, Mike is up earlier then I am and heads out the door about the time I get downstairs. Probably still too dark for him to see it as well. Ah, spring....not until April at least, but the time does seem to fly by as long as I'm not shut up in the house.
Beautiful snow pictures, Mary.. Love the one of the lake. It looks like it could be here in Fairfield Glade. Is there a golf course around the lake??? Ours does.
Hugs,
Betsy
Betsy: No golf course! It's not a real big pond. I'm in a one-road subdivision with just 8 houses. 5 of the 8 touch that lake plus a small woods on one side.
