If you have never visited this blog before, you should....it always has amazing photos! I don't visit as often as I should considering the wonderful photos. http://paddletales.blogspot.com/
LOL I liked your 'ode'. I don't have a decent lens...and so generally don't even try unless the birds are actually at my feeders (which they definately are NOT lately!)
However...after moving very slowly around some bushes and under the Aspen...I finally ID-ed the first Butter-butts (Yellow-rumped Warblers) in my yard this weekend.
I wonder if I have titmouse in my area? They are so cute! You've managed a couple good ones, ya know!
Beverly: I'm sure you've noticed that most of my photos are on or near feeders. If the birds didn't stop 5 feet away from my camera outside the window, I'd never have any good shots!
I've been lifted up on Your wings of love, Raised from the grave of sin and despair, I can soar to the top of Your holy mountain Your wings of grace will carry me there. I will humble myself in Your sight, And bow low to the King of Kings! And wait in joy and hope and peace..... As I'm lifted on grace filled wings. (by Mary Freeman)
