(double post due to weather :-)
Got snow! Hey Betsy....if it looks like this in Tennessee, I bet you're jumping for joy right now!
The deck before I swept it off to fill the feeders.
I love how the snow packed inside these wire feeders and left a "head" on top! I think our predicted 3-4 inches looks more like 6.

Well, the snow IS pretty when just fresh...
I love those snowy top hats on the feeders! Very pretty, but I have to agree with you that winter can pack up now go on its way! That Wren looks a bit disgruntled! (-:
Boy, did you get snow. The top hats on the feeders are amazing.
Well thats a change Mary.
Awe Mary, I know you don't care for snow as much as I do--but I just love it. We have 5-6 inches --but we also have an inch of ICE on top of the snow. AND--we've had more snow this afternoon. It's SO pretty--and I've been outside two different times taking pictures...
I do love seeing your snow pictures though... My birds are eating like crazy also...
Hugs,
Betsy---a Happy Camper today!!!!
Mary, You didn't mention the word 'cold' even once. You are a tougher winter person than I am. How happy would you be if all that snow stayed and stayed? right, now you understand where I am coming from all winter. Nice pics.
Ann
Thank you everyone. I guess I can stand one snow....as long as I don't get any more! It is already melting, but we are suppose to have really low temps, so it may get icy and dangerous out there by tomorrow.
Ann: I must have been biting my tongue to avoid saying "cold". I've been cold for a month now and my joints are really feeling it! I want sunshine!
I like the looks of your Snowball. We got about the same amount of snow that you did, but ours didn't cling to things the same way yours did. It's supposed to be cold through tomorrow night, and then I hope it will be Spring!
Mary! We came almost to Vincennes looking for snow and gave up. I didn't check any blogs other than Betsy's, or the weather sites before we left cause I had not planned to head south...but i mentioned heading south to look for snow and Roger said 'let's go.' If I had seen this, we would have traveled on. But it was bright sunshine all the way....
Love your igloo Mary
You are getting more than your fair share of snow. we have clouds today God forbid we have snow, when we had the storm the other day they lost 250 of the mud brick houses I in Luxor only saw a few drops of rain. but all around I was watching the flashes of the storm, an amazing sight.
cut and paste into your browser.

I love your winter scenes from the head of foam on your beer feeders to the transformation of your dome.
There is nothing like a clean layer of fresh snow.
Is it every going to warm up Mary? I think you had better head for here. It might be raining but it is still very hot.
Welcome to my world Mary. Snow, snow, and more snow.
Actually it's just darn right cold here, but your snow pictures are pretty anyway.
