I hope I got the names spelled right! While we were in Ohio, I spent most of my time trying to take photos of two very active young cats. They belong to my sister-in-law and my nephew.
Nose to nose....just who does this toy belong to?
Benton won this round.
He was on the go constantly, like all young kittens, but when he did get tired and "crashed" he was always so cute....and easier to take photos of!
He loved this end table and the little lamp which I'm sure gave both light and warmth.
Reminded me of "Chessy Cat" the Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad cat from long ago.
Time to kill that bird toy a few more times!

I think Cinco was glad when Benton went home and she could have a peaceful cat nap.

I think Cinco was glad when Benton went home and she could have a peaceful cat nap.It was too cold and we were too busy with family to get outside looking for photos. Came home to temps in the 20's and 10's which is very cold for southern Indiana! I may be taking a lot of feeder photos for awhile until it gets a bit nicer out!

Playful kitties are the best! Ah, the blissful hunter-champion prestige of winning a bird toy of one's very own to love and attack. Someday maybe I'll be a cat owner. Right now I travel too much. Fun shots here, Mary!
Eve: I like that one, too but had to do some cropping since he chose to lay up against Mike's CPAP machine.
CountryDreaming: Thanks...they were a lot of fun, but I wish I knew how to halt the "action" when they are jumping around, or I'm sure I could have had more interesting shots. That bird toy was a big hit as well as a little laser light toy. Such energy!
I just love cat photos. They are always on the go and provide so much enertainment.
The younger one looks just like my stray Jasper, and appears about the same age.

Absolutely fabulous shots! The one with the lamp is outstanding...and I do remember the Chessie cat from the C&O Days...your pic is PERFECT for that. What little sweeties they are.
Shows wonderfully by how they slept side by side...that warms my heart :)

Those kitties are so cute. I remember the Chessie Cat and that photo looks exactly like it! My other favorite is of the two resting after their wrestling match - very sweet!

Thanks everyone...they were very cute, but they wore me out just watching them run all over the place! My cats are old and "calm", so I had forgotten all that excess energy the young ones have.
Great photos! Cinco reminds me of one of our cats, Caramel. I took her in as a kitten and she's 15 years old now. :)
