Better post some color before it is too late! Still getting such "hit and miss" sunshine that they don't always look their best.
These are the same trees that are in my header. I took that header photo 2-3 years ago and know exactly where to go to find these gorgeous trees each year :-) Not quite as good this year.
I like ones with just the tips that have turned.
I'm always amazed when there is just one branch that has really gone all out and changed and the rest hasn't.
Lots of maples if I drive around looking for them.
Sooooo red.
But I like the orange a bit better.
Can't do anything about the wires unfortunately.
The rest of these were taken last week at the wetlands and I was waiting for more color to put with them.
The grasses look pretty, too!
I still like green! With a bit of yellow....even better.
Looks like a Gum....always a flame mix.
Purple....harder to find!

Because of our climate we never get "fall colors" here. The leaves tend to go from green to brown with nothing inbetween so I love these pictures. It looks so pretty.
Very pretty Mary. One bad thing about fall is that once the pretty leaves have fallen it will be a while before we see anything colorful again.

Keep that beautiful color coming.This is the only way I get to enjoy it this year.We do have a few trees on the yard that still have a chance,but the others are frozen.:( Love your mixture of colors,it has brightened my morning.Thanks

Beautiful Mary. Our colors seem faded this year. Probably from all the rain. I'm glad I got pictures when I did because we had a freeze last night, and the leaves are falling fast this morning.

Beautiful, Mary. Your pictures looke alot like mine today. I love all of the Fall colors also--especially when there is a gorgeous blue sky above.
I laughed about those darn wires. I have that problem also.... Think there are more wires around here than there are TREES. ha ha

i think the fall colors are our consolation prize for shorter days and colder weather. I love the reflections - twice the color!
