Wonderful, wonderful shots Mary. I love all those trees. Reminds me of Bonsai. I've had a few. They are interesting, but take way more care than my orchids. That sign about the No Spitting is at each end of that big bridge over the RR tracks, and has a stairwell at each end. That is where the signs are. It's also a place where homeless people can lay on the benches. It's really clean and nice, and the police patrol it all the time on their bikes just to make sure nobody hangs around that shouldn't be . B.
Very beautiful gardens. I love the lotus flowers. Their color is nice and bright. So many turtles, and they are HUGE! By the way, I like your new header shot. :D
Mary, great photos. At Huntington Gardens in Pasadena, there is a whole Japanese garden section and these photos so remind me that I need to go there again. It's been awhile.
I've been lifted up on Your wings of love, Raised from the grave of sin and despair, I can soar to the top of Your holy mountain Your wings of grace will carry me there. I will humble myself in Your sight, And bow low to the King of Kings! And wait in joy and hope and peace..... As I'm lifted on grace filled wings. (by Mary Freeman)
