I never see actual "baby" squirrels, but I have a couple right now that seem smaller than "Star" and the other squirrels. Maybe Fox Squirrels don't let the babies roam around.

Who me?

Checking out the rail. He comes every day. Didn't take long to learn where the food is.

Definitely skinnier then Star!

Way up there?

I'm cuter then Star.....and younger!

2 of my deck visitors....the one on the right is the littlest one.

Trying to imitate "the Star"......
.....not cute enough yet to push Star into retirement.

So Star has been busy while we have not been watching him hey? Got up to all kind of mischief I see. :)
What cute little babies Mary. I hope Star is not going to teach them to be so cheeky and demanding. LOL!!
What a little cutie! Aren't you the lucky one to have parentally inclined squirrels on your patch!
Cute little guys... Baby Squirrel is a cutie--and is learning FAST!!!!
We see lots of tiny squirrels around here this time of year also. It's spring!!! Can you tell???? ha
Hugs,
Betsy
wow, great shots of that guy.
Its a bit early for free-roaming babysquirrels here I think, but, my new regular wisitor turned out to be a mother nursing small ones (I can se her nipples..) So, I do beleave that Ill have small red ones running around soon :) Dont know where they live, but the mum is by almost every day, and one day I hope the small ones follow :D
I have squirrel babies across the street also...aren't they just that much more adorable when they are small like this? I have a time keeping the cats corralled when Mama wants to be fed.
Awwwww, so happy you have a new kid on the block. He is very cute.
That cracks me up how your squirrels stretch themselves out flat on your deck rails! Cute!!
They are so cute and they do look like young ones.
How adorable Mary. I'm so glad to see more squirrel stories.

Mary: Very cool captures of the neat little squirrels.
Ack! So cute!!!!!! The last photo is funny!
It looks as if Star may have some competition in the months ahead. I'm pulling for Star!
These were great and I love your comments with the photos. In that last shot he just looks way too comfortable. He's definitely at home. :-)
There's a video on Youtube of two squirrels, one an adult and one a baby. The adult is trying to get the baby to jump onto a ledge. It takes human help to get it done. It's adorable.
I like these new squirrels. Wish we had fox squirrels here - I only ever see grey squirrels.
They must be young siblings ... or they would be having squirrel wars for territory! Not as cute as Star.
