Internet Explorer..
Don't know what the problem is, but Internet Explorer won't let me open some of your blogs....very frustrating! So if I don't visit, it is because I can't. So far it has refused Ann in New Brunswick, Tom in Ohio, and Becky at Woodynook, and Annie in Connecticut. Sigh. I will try the laptop later and see if it has the same problem. This computer shut down on us 3 times night before last, so maybe something happened to Explorer during that time.

Hope you get your IE issues resolved! So so frustrating!
Annie: I take it you are not having problems? I had an email from Becky that she is having trouble getting on her own blog and she is one I can't visit.
Well, here I am, the only way I can access the (my)blog is to be patient and keep closing out that messsage. Sometimes it will work and let me in. Who knows.

Hi Mary - I've been having lots of problems with Internet Explorer recently. Many blogging friends advised me to switch to Firefox, which I have done and so far, all is well. Good luck with it. A x
I also would recommend that you consider Firefox. I use it almost all the time and have had no problems at all.
Hmmm...What's Internet Explorer? :)
I'm a firefox fan too.
Sorry Mary, we're going to Maine, hope you get things straightened away.
Tom
Apparently my son is already using Firefox on the computer and Mike is in favor of switching, so I assume we will switch over. I just go where they tell me to :-)Catch up with all of you eventually!
I am having trouble with the embedded comments. I cannot seem to leave comments on any blogs with that type of comment page anymore. Just started about a week ago. Guess I will stop following those if it continues.

As George said, Mary, we have Firefox.. It's a free download.. WE love it---and have had no problems.
Hugs,
Betsy
It is something many are reporting on the help forums. It seems to ahve to do with the followers gadget and the Google Friend Connect. And it seems to be sporadic, so may take them a while to pinpoint the glitch.
I have to agree with Leedra, it is the sites with embedded comments. I had the same problem a week or so ago but it sorted itself out after a day or too.
Whatever you do Mary.......
DO NOT GO OVER TO FIREFOX!!!!
There are more problems caused by it than solved!!
Mary: I've had some problems with some sites today.
I was having problems with IE, at least I assumed it was IE. My computer would freeze every minute or so for about 20 seconds. It was like something was, I think they call it, pinging my computer, tracking my movements. I've got an older computer so it probably noticed it more than someone with a faster processor that could handle it.
I think it was IE because of their new browser that puts all of your browsing info on a new screen.
It was frustrating so I change to Firefox to see if it would make a difference. It did. My computer has frozen since.
I would say give Firefox a try. You can still use IE at any time you choose. You just have a choice to use Firefox or IE when you surf.
