I hope some of them were scented Mary! I love that salmony pink one and the deep golden yellow ones best I think. Were you able to buy roses from this garden or what it just on show?

Oh Mary, we're going to have roses like that VERY soon. We have several blooming now---but there are TONS more to come. Our Rose Garden contains 47 different bushes..

George brought a rose into the house and put it on the kitchen table for me yesterday. Its name is Sweetness --and it smells so so good.

George always buys hybrid-tea roses that have a fragrance...

Can't wait to show you our Rose Garden soon. But the garden at New Harmony is also beautiful.

Hugs,
Betsy

Lucky, lucky you! What a wonderful experience and garden, I bet your nose was twitching, mine certainly would have been. I would have been as exited as a dog in a park!

Oh, Mary, these are wonderful! I am glad I don't have to pick a favorite....I do love those yellow roses though. But then I like the pink ones....

Thank you everyone...they really were pretty when you looked at them as individuals.

Jenny: No, they were not for sale. This rose garden is at the Inn in New Harmony.
