Every time I look through my photos for something to post, it seems like I just posted the very same bird a few days before......over and over. As much as I love my regular birds, I'm getting way too many photos of the same birds.

I'm almost beginning to like this guy....or at least I've gotten used to the fact that he is going to steal all the peanut butter and suet if he can.
This is not one of my squirrels. I was sitting the car waiting for Mike to drop something off at his parent's house when I noticed a squirrel heading to his nest in the neighbor's tree. I would love to know what their nest looks like inside and how do they keep all those leaves together.
Mr. Mean still chasing everyone away. He's almost worst then the Starlings.

This icicle dripped between the railings of the deck causing a Stalagmite/stalactite connection.
Mike took these last two shots the day of the snow. I thought they were both pretty and worth posting even if the snow is now mostly gone.
He was willing to walk down the road to get a good photo....I was too lazy.

Your snow was so pretty, Mary.. That's the kind I love... It comes and then it GOES. Ours keeps hanging on --and it not very pretty now. I especially love the last picture of your domed home.
I guess I'm glad we don't have mockers here.. We do have a few Starlings--but not too many. AND--the ones we have don't seem to scare the others away. We have more Goldfinches than anything this winter. But--they seem to be nice birds.

Mary, you couldn't bore me with your pictures of you tried! All are great shots! Love to see your snow since I don't think we will get any.
I always enjoy your photos and your explanations that you give. Hopefully Spring will soon arrive and you'll have many new and different things to photograph.
Winter has a way of becoming boring as far as pictures are concerned.I do love that unique icicle.Spring will come and we must have our cameras ready to roll.:)

Mama Squirrel was here this morn, and it was funny to watch this one starling. It wanted her walnuts and kept pacing back and forth.
Re the wren hanging upside down--aren't you glad we don't have to hang upside down to eat???

Thanks everyone for saying that I don't bore you, but I do bore myself sometimes :-) I'm sure as the weather improves, we will get out for a change of scenery and more photos.

Lots of nice shots in this post, Mary. Really like the close up of the icicle. It's somewhat shaped like a carrot. Beautiful scene with the snowy bench. Your house is almost camouflaged with the snowy roof!
It's nasty up here today. But I shouldn't complain too loudly; it's our first bad storm for this year and I know we're not getting it as bad as east of us.

You may be tired of winter, but your posts are anything BUT boring! I just spent a few minutes catching up with your last few posts in my readers (thanks for making the entire feed available to facilitate the process) and I'm glad I didn't miss them. All your wintry views look beautiful (if chilly) to me ... the icicle stalagmite/stalactite connection is very kewl ... the scenic views and birds are lovely (those crows in flight and the geese 'gawking' are memorable) ... what a wonderful variety you see! I had no idea birds went for p-nut butter!
