This is a continuation of last week.....after the lower attack method didn't work, Star went up the pole and tried the hanging method. These would work good as one of the "flip books" kids play with :-)

LOL!! He is not having an easy time of it is he but I guess he heed the exercise so that he is in shape for summer. :)

Joan: No problem! I type the wrong things sometimes, too. I think "she" is probably more correct, now that we have a full belly view :-)
Oh how funny, Mary... Love reading your words of the squirrels thoughts!!!!! Funny!!!! I think squirrels would do most anything to eat the bird seed....

Your squirrels are so cute...and persistant!! I know you have fun photographing them!
Star really has to work for his meals doesn't he? You could make it easier, but then it wouldn't make for such a good story.

I just love that they an eat upside down with no problems...mine will hang upside down on the tree eating and at the same time seem totally relaxed.
Squirrels really can work themselves into such contortions ... to get a seed or two or three! It's good for him to have to work for his food ... makes him appreciate it even more.
I do love the antics of your beautiful squirrels in their thick winter coats and bushy tails.
I think Star deserves a gold medal for this routine!
Our squirrels have just lately discovered our feeder.
