SkyWatch Friday.....

It's SkyWatch Friday! I actually have some blue sky for a change! Despite the lousy weather recently, yesterday the sun was shining and the sky was blue and we went out looking for photo ops!A hay rake at the side of the road under the blue sky.
Have to have at least one bird in the post! This Red Shouldered hawk was enjoying the sunshine also and looking for dinner in the fields.

This farm looks like an oasis in the middle of these fields.

The sun and snow drifts along the side of the road and the sky and clouds...what more can you ask for? (Well.....maybe 60 degree temps would be nice in place of the snow.)

Just the sky and clouds....the star of the day.
What color is your sky today?

How beautiful! Love the first and next to last photos. And the clouds - have no idea what that type is called, but they make a gorgeous sky.

Very beautiful blue skies !
I too wait for each moment the sun is coming out for photo hunting ! It's real hard because most of the days are grey here in Belgium.

I'm glad you were able to get out, enjoy a blue sky and get some pictures. I really like your picture of the hay rake, but the picture of the farm across the fields reminds me of similar scenes from my younger years in Indiana.

Hi Mary. Thanks for dropping by The Early Birder where there is very little blue but lots of grey and damp weather at the moment!
Loved the Hawk perched. FAB.

P.S. I'll be back from time to time.

Oh my goodness what a collection of amazing photos! I love the wide angle ones; they make the sky look fantastic. But the hay rake is so wonderful, too--perfect composition. And a great shot of the hawk. I love to see them come look for lunch at my bird feeders. Rarely successful, but they are just so striking.

Really beautiful skies, Mary! It was blue here today, too. =)

Nice angle on the hay rake. Beautiful hawk. Great capture of the ripples in the clouds. I like how you caught the light on the corn field in the second to last photo.
