Watery Wednesday.....

I certainly had a "Watery" Tuesday, so that gives me plenty of photos for Wednesday :-)
It rained all day yesterday. Lots of "April showers" a day early. The Cardinal in front of a puddle reflecting the new spring growth.
Looking across the lake in the rain to the neighbor's lovely daffodils.

Puddles......lots of puddles!
Puddles make nice mirrors for whatever is around, but I didn't want to get outside in the rain to take the photos.

Dove wading through the puddles.
Rain dripping from everything! Can you see the White Throated Sparrow?
A wet Robin posing in the tree.

The Cardinal didn't seem to mind the wet seeds too much.
A Purple Finch showed up.......
......with the Mrs. as well.
Hairy Woodpecker having some soggy suet.
Lots of molting Goldfinches.
And a very unhappy wet squirrel who seemed to be more hungry then usual....I think it is a female. Maybe feeding young? She was hitting every feeding spot she could find.
Today is suppose to be nice and sunny, so we are heading out for the whole day. Will check blogs later if I hope!

We've gotten a lot of rain too and more on the way. No green though like in your pics, just mud.

You get the most pictures of birds! And the squirrel is probably a female...there is usually no doubt if it is a male. They have a big set, if you know what I mean.

You had much more rain on Tuesday than we did, but you got some good pictures. I hope you have lots of bright sunshine today.

Great shots on a rainy day, Mary... Perfect for watery Wed....

The birds always seem to eat more on rainy days, don't they?
Hugs,
Betsy

Wow Mary, you have a crowd even in the worst weather. The water does make for some cool reflections.
Rain this AM, but now it's sunny and some awesome clouds off Lake Erie.

Thank you everyone! It's late and I'm really tired, so I will not leave individual comments. I hope to catch up a few of your blogs before going to bed.

Like the variety of this post. Daffodils are my favorite, and the birds don't seem to mind the rain at all. Probably feels good to them.

I really like these. Sorry I didn't get to your post on Wednesday. It's really hard to visit and respond to all of those entries. Love the cardinal in front of the water. All of these are great shot and I so enjoy your photos. :-)

Thank you everyone!

2sweetnsaxy: Never apologize...I'm amazed that the hosts of memes ever get to even half of the entries. I have trouble getting to all of my favorite blogs and get behind so often!
