A few more home shots
The Chickadee.....one of my favorites that I haven't seen too much of over the summer.
"I have a seed!"
Looking coyly at the camera
Hummer.....not great
She was reflecting the red of the feeder a bit. I'm trying to get a good shot of the male that is coming to my feeder. I don't see him as much.

I have always loved chickadees, ever since I can remember. Unfortunately there are none in Australia so your shots are a doubly welcome sight.
Great captures of all the birds as well as your two puddy tats.
I like the Chickadee and the cat pictures, Mary! Does the cat ever try to catch the birds?
The Hummer pictures are great. We have not seen a male here for quite some time.

i haven't had a chickadee to come to my feeder yet but i do get visits from goldfinches and mourning doves. i've never seen the doves eat the seeds from the feeder though, only the ground. i have one hummingbird that visits every summer but it only stays for a few seconds. i don't have any feeder for them, sadly. and lastly, your cats are adorable. hope all is well.
almost forgot. i love those chickadee pictures.
I love those hummer shots Mary! Also love the Mourning Dove and both of your moggies too!
Nice shots Mary. Well done. Thats it for today I am done in bed for me XXX Don
HI Mary... Love you kitties!!
That chickadee looking coyly is a cutie !!
It is a trick to get a picture of a Hummingbird! Busy little guys!!
Love your photos from home, Mary... Your birdies are just so precious. And Hopey and Ozma are both beautiful... Thanks for sharing...
I saw Federer's great shot... He's amazing...
Hugs,
Betsy
I think your pictures of the hummingbirds are quite good.
We haven't seen too many chickadees this summer either. They are a fun bird to watch.
Cats always have the most amazing eyes and you captured it beautifully. I have a post on eyes coming up soon but not sure when.
Nice to see the Chickadee again Mary and the Dove is a really nice shot.
Hopey and Ozma are adorable Mary. I've enjoyed your Chickadee also. They are very cute birds that I enjoy seeing at my feeders. Have a great day.
An English Girl Rambles
I like all he birds, but I love the photo of Hopey! She is a good subject for photography.
Thank you everyone for the nice comments...I'm still watching lots of tennis, but its making me pay more attention to my home birds for a change in between matches:-)
Betsy: Yes, Federer is one of the best tennis players ever. He is getting older and slower, but he still has a lot of style!
Rose: I shouldn't admit that Hopey is my favorite cat, but she is. She is rather thin now, and it worries me. They are 15 years old.
More good shots. I love your cats expression! My Maggie is 21 years old this summer, and I had to give her a partial hair cut. She got burrs in the fur on her back.

Becky: 21????? Oh, my...the thought of Mouse (our evil cat) livng that long is rather daunting.
