Even though you don't have purple mountains in your region, your country, like mine goes from sea to sea and includes a little bit of everything from mountains to coastlines to beautiful shores. Lovely sky watch skies!

April, Michele, Teresa:Thanks! I don't know that I've ever actually seen purple mountains...brown/grey in Tucson, green covered in Tennessee and the east, snow-capped in Seattle...all beautiful! Indiana lacks mountains of any sort.

I first looked at your skywatch photos...I thought, hmmmm, she has got to be somewhere close to me. So looked at your profile and you are in Indiana, too. I am about 5 miles or so from the western edge of the state and midway of the state north and south.
Anyway, I have to look around more and wanted to tell you I like your sky watch photos, but I LOVE your header photo...I love birds but I declare I think Wrens are my favorite. They have such a big voice for such a little voice and such personalities.
Love those clouds. Great post for our America.
