I'm thinking about starting "Simple Sundays".......one picture only. I don't usually have pictures that I think stand alone without a lot of others to help support them, plus I just like posting lots of pictures :-) However, I'm going to try to simplify my Sundays by just posting one picture.We accidentally disturbed a nest of baby bunnies yesterday, while looking at a dogwood tree that a friend wants to give me. I felt so bad about scaring them off and hope the mama finds them all! My husband managed to snap a couple of pictures as they scattered in all directions. Poor bunnies!

He has great camouflage, doesn't he. I'd say "poor little guys" for being scared liked that, but you are a benign disturbance - ie, one not looking for dinner. So, really, it's their lucky day.
One photo, then most of mine are simple.(grin) More BUNNIES!! so sweet and soft. thanks for sharing
I like the bunny! My daddy Len saw a baby bunny in our backyard yesterday but it got scared and ran away before he could take a picture.
I know what you mean about Simple Sundays....and Wordless Wednesdays too, for that matter. I just like to talk too much and love posting lots of pictures too!

Aw, Mary, what a little cutie! Hopefully, they will all find each other again. I finished the garden walk today, but compromised with a Silent Sunday. I just didn't have it in me this morning to write a lot. I've thought of doing one picture on the days when Mom is here. I'll go with whatever strikes me at the time, I guess.
Wren: I just hope I didn't scare them into the jaws of a neighbor cat. I think I'll wait a week before going to get the dogwood tree.
Stacey: Your single photographs easily stand alone and are far from simple! I'm one of those "point and shoot" people and just like taking photographs.
JB: I hope that you are a friendly well fed cat who leaves bunnies alone. I tend to be full of words and pictures, also and this experiment with simplicity may not work for long :-)
Sandpiper: I don't know how you get long posts put together and spend time with your mom, too, so I think whatever you post is wonderful and that you probably need some time off. I enjoyed your post today without the words.

Mary, your photos are more than good enough to stand on their own! And I think that Simple Sunday sounds like a fun concept! (But you will soon discover that there are nothing simple about selecting just one of many beautiful shot.... LOL )
Mosefruen: Thanks for the kind words! And I'll pass them on to my husband, too, since he took this one :-) The first time I have an exciting bird sighting on a Sunday, I'm sure that I'll forget all about Simple Sundays again.
Such a picture really stands out by itself. To add more would only detract from this scared little bunny; whom I'm sure everyone is rooting for! This is a lovely picture.
Where are bunny nests usually, in leaves under a tree...or...I've never seen any around here but we have tons of bunnies.

Me and My Camera: I didn't really think of this as a stand alone picture, but it was the best of the 3 we got before they were gone.
Sandy: I didn't really know where the bunnies nest either. These were under a pile of leaves with some old boards leaning over the nest next to a barn. The little dogwood tree I want was only a few feet away, and my friend started pulling up stuff and that is what spooked them. I think mine at home must nest down along the creek or under the Forsythia bushes, because that is the area where I most often see them. I have a large brush pile where we throw leaves and limbs and such and always figured they might be in there, also.
