No birds today.....I'm off to a quilting class! 
I'm working hard on a Crazy Quilt at the moment instead of taking bird photos. This isn't it, but it is a Crazy Quilt postcard that I started and never finished (minus the gone quilting letters which aren't a part of it). Can you see the spiderweb on the green fabric? It is considered good luck to put a spider web on your Crazy Quilt :-) Don't ask me why.
I had a bunch of these "Gone Quilting" signs made up to use, so I might as well put two in to fill up some space. My class today is going to be learning to make a Coffee Filter Batik quilt. The fabrics above are batiks....my favorite type of fabrics. I don't have a photo of what the Coffee Filter quilt will look like, but there will be batik fans in the corners of the blocks, made using the filters......sounds intriguing to me! I will probably just make a runner or something small rather than a quilt. I'm working on too many other projects at the moment to start something big. I will post photos in my quilt blog after the class.

I learned that one blog doesn't fit everything.....but the name stuck.

Hi Mary..thanks for the reminder of your Quilt blog....I haven't been there lately ...just checked it out the Dec posts. I just loved, them such clever people...but I can do those things to if I would just set still long enough!! hahaha!!!
Have fun! I should pull out the quilting again too ... I've a number of unfinished projects! Sigh.
Ruth: I'll put something up showing the unfinished bits we worked on.
Grammie: It's fun whether you are clever or just can follow a pattern or make it up as you go. For me it's the only remotely artistic thing I can do and have fun doing it.
Cicero: You should! You wouldn't be a quilter if you didn't have a few UFO's....unfinished fabric objects :-)
I know your crazy quilt will be beautiful! I admire pretty quilts but just never picked up the hobby.
I just got your email a few minutes ago...going to be pretty no matter what you do with them.
I hope you'll share your Crazy Quilt with us here as well. It sounds very interesting.
