I may have a new squirrel....and a new feeder.....but it looks like its up to the same old tricks!
"Hey, where did this come from? It's got seeds in it! It must be for me!"
"How do I get it open?"
"What!?........ALL feeders are mine!"
"Hmmmmm.....its sort of lightweight and tips, but I'll figure it out!"
"Are you laughing at me? This is NOT a squirrel proof feeder. It's cheap plastic and I'll just gnaw my way in, so there!"
(You do that, Star, and you will not get any sunflower seeds for Christmas! Santa knows who's been naughty or nice.....and believe me, you can't fool him!)
"I'll be back......after Christmas!"

Tell Star to behave will you Mary. One of his cousins over here tried gnawing a wooden feeder it lasted about ten seconds before he got in.and devoured all the nuts. I dont mind but it gets expensive repacing the feeders as well as the nuts and seed. Thanks for your kind words Mary. Love you. XXX Don
Mary, I love to see your squirrel pictures! You do a great job in capturing their antics!
Happy Sunday!
Haha! I do wonder if there are any squirrel proof feeders...not that I really worry cause they are hungry, too, and I usually scatter some sunflower seed around for them.
Somehow I doubt that Star can stay away from that feeder for two weeks. I predict you'll have more cute pictures for us next Sunday.
Awww, he will figure it out! I'm surprised he hasn't chewed through it already.
Looks like some sun in your photo too.
B.
that squirrel looks to be inspired by your bird feeder. he's a beautiful creature. i saw one in a tree on our way to Christmas shop yesterday. i didn't get a photo though because i spotted him a little late. he was cute though. hope all is well. have a great night~
Star looks very healthy and well fed - lol! Also good at gymnastics too! Cute photos!
Thank you everyone....I will do my best to keep Star and the other squirrels away from my new feeder. I give him his own food in easier to reach places.
hahaha! They drive us nuts...
Hi Mary ...good luck with that one...they eat them up like they do the seeds. LOL : }
Tenacious little beggar ... hope the feeder survives Mary. FAB.
So far, so good....Star has left the feeder alone as long as I put seeds on his box.
Lovely images it has really entertained me reading your post. Thanks
