I took a lot of videos today of the different birds feeding. This particular feeder has a constant changing array of birds! They really love these little wire cage feeders and I have 5 of them that the birds just scramble all over themselves trying to get at. They like it if I put a stick through for the birds that don't hang so well. You can control who comes that way to some extent.....but I like all the birds :-)

Great video. So nice to see all those birds! Good idea about the sticks. I think I'll try that.
Of course the stick encourages larger birds....like the RedWing Blackbird that will be in tomorrow's post....starlings and grackles, too. The cardinal apprecaites it a lot...he can cling to the wire, but his size makes it hard for him to get into position. They aren't quite as nimble as the finches and downys and wrens and nuthatches.
