We had a bit of snow Saturday and some cold temperatures predicted for this week.
But spring must be coming, if the Raccoon came out in the cold to raid the bird seed. I don't see him too much in winter. It was 6AM and I peeked out at the deck and there he was in the green dish. By the time I got the camera and opened the door, he was a bit nervous :-)
The snow meant a trip to the local store for more bird seed. Looks like they have some other customers coming! This was in the side yard next to the store.

Hi Mary, You are getting much more snow than we are. We have been lucky to have missed most every snow storm since early January... BUT--we did have a raccoon on the deck last week a couple of times during the night.
Great pictures.
Hugs,
Betsy
HI Mary...Oh no! not the raccoons..as long as we have this deep snow I hope they can't get out I'm not looking forward to there visits!!
Those are smart Geese to be near the store where there is feed..hope they don't break in to the place!!
Nice photo's of the Geese!!
You got a good picture of your nervous visitor. We've had a similar visitor, but haven't gotten any pictures.
Little close though isn't he , Mary? Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
Guess it may have been our local 'bandit' that got the bird seed and over-turned the water tray! You caught a good picture of him and of the Geese!!!
Love your header photo...seen a robin in Terre Haute today so shouldn't be long till we have a few. I like the pictures of the geese also.
If there's a sucker for geese, that's me. I have always loved them, wild or domestic.
I don't mind the geese, but I really don't want to see raccoons yet. He is cute though.
