There were several large groups of Coots on the reservoir.
This group was enjoying the rocks along the shore.
And a Great Blue Heron fishing the shallow water there.
We saw lots of gulls and I was hoping there might be more than one kind, but all I can see are the common Ring-Billed Gulls. There are juveniles mixed in with the adults.

What a lovely dam. That is such a nice view of it and I am sure many people go there for a picnic.

You certainly got some wonderful pictures at the dam. In addition to your bird pictures I really like the trees with the autumn color.
