Along with the Bluebirds, a Mockingbird showed up at the feeders. Looking at the photos, I can't decide if they are all the same Mockingbird, or whether a couple of them were out there off and on. 
I call him "Mr. Mean" because he tries to claim all the feeders for himself and doesn't want to share the suet with anyone! The smaller birds are often intimidated, but some of the others sort of ignore him.
I do think they are pretty birds and they pose nicely :-)

I don't mind them, and as long as there is food for all, he can posture and pose all he wants.

You are funny, Mary! But I totally understand how you feel. I have one that flies to the dining room window and pecks on the glass. It's hard to run him away. I think they are mean, too!

Mr. Mean is such a CUTIE...He doesn't look mean!!!! BUT--if he won't share the feeders, then he definitely is mean!!!
We supposedly have Mockingbirds in Tennessee--but I never see them around here... Don't know why!

Isn't it funny how many people posted about mockingbirds this week! Grammy G has a post up too! I had no idea these birds were hanging out everywhere else but my house! I had to travel to the beach to find mine. Cute bird! I didn't ever think of how they are gray like the winter! Great comparison! It sure has been mostly gray here for the last week.

Wonderful photos of the mockingbird Mary! I love their songs and tend to find them delightful to have around, but I guess that's because I never tried to share suet with one! I'm glad I don't seem to attract any pushy birds to my feeders, that try to keep the other birds away. For some reason, you don't see many blackbirds of any kind here, for instance. But, great shots! Thanks for your comment on my "fence."
Birds seem to have their own unique personality. We have a blue jay that is very picky and he will pick at a half dozen or so of peanuts until he finds one to his liking. Another one pushes one back into his mouth and then picks up a second one before flying away with them. The mockingbirds are very elegant looking.
