Some leftovers to end the week.
A very handsome Blue Jay sitting on the deck post.
His curious look.....checking out the available food.
He seemed sort of "dirty" looking and not quite so bright blue as some of them are.

"Are there any peanuts today?? We really love peanuts!"
The critic....but he will take what he can get.
"We'll be back! Buy more peanuts!"

Any one need a maple tree????? We have a few 1000 seeds all over the driveway and yards. Surely there must be some bird or varmint out there that likes to eat their seeds! We will be pulling up little maple trees all summer long.
And the "pink snow" from the cherry tree.
Good thing our gutters are only at knee height (that's MY knee height, not Mike's)! What a mess! Packed full and overflowing.
After I cleaned it out onto the ground. Lots of mushy pink.
Ah, well.......its beauty while blooming makes up for the clean-up :-)

Amazing pictures. Cleaning the gutters can't be all that bad with something that pretty to clean out.

Our Dogwood blossoms are all on the ground now--after last night's rain... AND--we have that maple stuff in addition to the Pin Oak stuff... It's just 'that' time of year, isn't it????? Fun Fun!!!

This is the CRAZIEST spring! All the flowering everything seem to be on hyper overdrive. Never have I seen blooming like this year! Gorgeous, but I wonder about the summer...

The bluejay pictures are wonderful! And you have some gorgeous pink snow there! :-) Wow, you are right...those are a lot of maple seeds!
Wow! What a bunch of cherry blossoms...But besides the fact that they need to be cleaned out of your gutter, they still look beautiful--even on the ground.

Those are wonderful photos of the blue jay....and I always love pink snow. Feel like I am entering a fairy land when pink petals cover sidewalks, etc.
