This little Goldfinch was so busy posing for me, I thought I would let him have a post all of his own.
Every time I know what I'm doing on Blogger they change things....sigh. Not sure I like the new look at all. Sure makes the dashboard more confusing in my opinion...but then they never ask us bloggers what we want. I liked it the way it was!

Hi Mary...Just loved your previous post...love the Catbird photos. I haven't seen them back here yet!!
I know all about the suet thief..I have the same problem and was bringing it in at night..grrrr!!
The acrobatic Goldfinch is a hoot..they are so much fun to watch and are real beauties who deserved a post all there own!
Nice
Grace
Ps..the new look..I get so flustrated with it grrr..It is like going from a brand name to a generic..you have to poke around to find the ingredients !!!
He is well deserving of his own post. What a beauty! Have a wonderful week.
Sunny yellow~ cheery and sweet! Your blog is wonderful! :)
Handsome Goldfinch! I'm with you on the Blogger changes! Why can't these sites leave well enough alone!!! I can't see any improvement!
I'm glad you gave this goldfinch his own post. He deserves it for posing so beautifully.
When the birds come to my feeder they tend to keep out of shot behind the feeder. nice shots well done I will be getting my 100x400 lens back today"hopefully"
blogger is a part of google and when did they ever ask what we like? not only that but they also put on our pics to thier size so there is no point in putting macro shots on , as we cannot enlarge them.
There is a way to get back to the old format...if I could just find it again. I had seen how to do it somewhere, but could not find where. So I just kept looking...I will play around and see if I can figure out where.
Beautiful shots of the goldfinch.
Mary, either go to blogger dashboard, or when you have your blog open, click on Design up there at the top...then up in the upper right hand corner there is a little gear symbol, click on it and click on old blogger interface...of course I wonder just how long we will be able to do that.
Glad to know that I'm not the only one frustrated with Blogger and their "new" look! I agree with Rose, that you have to do a lot of poking around just trying to figure out where anything is or how to do it. They hid all the easy to understand stuff. I'll try that, Rose..thanks. I had been opting for the old look and they suddenly just made me take the new, so I didn't figure I still had a choice.
I agree. I cannot stand change for change sake.
This bird is well done. I'm struggling with mine! 3 cats do not help. either!
Respect wildlife!
Stunning looking bird Mary and nice pics.
I just love goldfinches in full breeding plumage! Nice series of shots! He well deserves his own post!
I can never get enough Goldfinches. They are just so cute, and there are so many.
I don't like Blogger changing things, and I went back to the old format. I don't know why either I can't get into our chicken blog. It won't accept my password, and then once I try to access it, I have great trouble getting back into my woodynook blog.
Was in MO last week and saw a red-headed woodpecker for the first time in, well, forever! What a glorious bird he is!
As always, your photos are wonderful!
