Blogger problems...
It seems that I have used up all my photo storage for my blog....again. They raised the price considerably. I'm trying to decide whether I will just quit blogging or start up under a new name. Am also trying to test smaller photos....if it will let me post one. I've tried to change my header photo to a smaller one and they won't even let me do that. I may not be posting for awhile...if at all while I figure this all out.

Oh Mary, I know the feeling. I have recently had to start paying ... but have not experienced the photo-posting difficulties you mention.
My blogger interface keeps telling me that it will all change (again) in a few days ... so I'm feeling despondent about that, esp as when they changed it before, I got so stuck I changed it back ... but fear I've had my last chance on that front now. Gmail also keeps saying its interface is about to change ... I wish we could opt (esp. on the services we PAY for) to keep things how we like them!
This was supposed to express some solidarity and empathy ... forgive me if it comes over as a moan!
Our blogs are such wonderful platforms for friendship, fellowship, exchange of news, the beauty of the photographic image, education and so much else besides. Long live Blogger ... but if it has to change again, may it leave any Ugly Duckling feathers behind and emerge as an elegant streamlined swan!
I do hope you don't have to give up blogging. There must be a way around this,but I have no clue what that is.
I don't have any answer either. I don't pay, and didn't realize you had to, but maybe I haven't been on long enough. Now I'm getting concerned. Your post came through just fine.
You post such beautiful pictures! They say I have reached my limit, too. But the only thing they wont let me do is change my header picture (I guess it takes up more space)I can still add pictures to my posts, I think I saw where certain size pictures didn't even count against you. I don't pay and I don't want to, so if the only thing they won't let me do is change my header picture, I'll be okay with that. I also went back through some of my old posts and deleted some of my posts and pictures that I thought I could live without and that gave me more space so I could change my header.
This happened to me a while back and I think I paid a very small amount for a LOT more storage space. They may have gone up since then, though. I really don't see how they can keep all our blogs and pictures so long!! I hope you don't stop blogging!

If you do decide to make a new blog, let everyone know what the new name is, etc. It shouldn't be too difficult a transition. I suppose I will have to face that eventually. When I was asked to pay it was only $5. a year, and I gladly did so. If it's gone up considerably, I will probably have to start a new blog as well.
