Spring is busting out all over!
Crocus
Daffodils
The female Mallard with the leg band that shows up at my house every spring arrived with FOUR males this year! Here are the three extras sunning themselves on the dam.
"We understood this place had good food......and all we get is stale cereal!"
Forsythias are blooming
The first spring "weed".....Henbit shows up in the yard.
I'm surprised this Quince bush has any flowers. It tried to bloom two times when it was too early and the flower buds got frozen. But it still managed to come up with some flowers at the right time.
Robins always mean spring!
"Do you think she can see me here? I'm going to check out that new feeder she hung up."
"The-cat-that-thinks-it-belongs-to-me"....a.k.a. Shadow....... holding down a sunny spot on the railing near the bird food. I let Shadow sleep in the garage this winter when it was cold and fed him, so I think he is mine whether I want him or not.
*************
We are heading to Tucson tomorrow afternoon!
Hopefully I will get lots of good photos of birds and flowers and whatever......but I hope no more photos of these two that I almost stepped on one year!

Strange even though you have different birds the flowers are the same as we have in Wales.
Safe travels.Have fun.
Great pictures, Mary...Yes---sounds like the cat is yours now!!!! Our Forsythia is trying to bloom now also... And we have lots of Daffodils blooming.
Enjoy your trip. This is a great time of year to go to Arizona.
Hugs,
Betsy
Great photos, Mary! I love the quince. Yipes! A rattlesnake! I haven't seen one yet, thank goodness! :-) Can't wait to see you.
I have nominated you for a Libster blog award. I know that you may not participate in awards, but this was given to me by a new blogger friend, and I was very moved by the sweet things she had to say about me, and thought I would pass the love along... If you wish to pass it on to five others, please do. You need to post the blog award picture on your blog, link back to me when you tell about winning, and then nominate 5 new people (giving their links) and let them know.
If the Star thinks he blends in .... not so much!
Hmmm, if you let Shadow sleep in the garage and errrr, fed him ... you mustn't mind too much his hangin' round.
Lovely springtime photos Mary, a great way to start my morning.
You must be a lot further south than we are, to have stuff blooming already... I was going to look for pussywillows, before I realized it was raining this morning...
I wondered if you were gone yet...let me know if you are on the computer any.
Oh, yikes. Snakes.
Even though we didn't have a terrible winter, it is so good to see Spring coming to life...Hope you have a wonderful trip!
Good grief, watch your step!
You are about 2 weeks ahead of us, but I do have Crocus blooming. With the temps in the 80's next week, I'm expecting great things from my flowers.
Have a good time.
