2 Doves and 2 dragonflies....

Not much in the yard today A couple of young Mourning Doves! I don't usually see the young ones. It looks so "ruffled".
Cute!

Finally found a male Widow Skimmer down by the pond to go with yesterday's female.

And a Blue Dasher male doing a "handstand".
That's it!

At least, you did better than I did. I love the doves! They have such pretty feathers. Maybe I'll get back to posting regular things in about a week. We should be home by then. Love and thanks for everything!!!

Hi Mary, Maybe all of your criitters are HIDING in the trees --trying to stay cool, in this horrible heat. The birds still come to my feeders, but I'm certainly not spending much time outside these days!!!

Rain has gone all around us this week---and we are getting desperate for some rain... We are watering what we can---but this heat is hard on all flowers/plants....
