The Airship Museum of yesterday's post was attached to another museum in an old train depot that looked at the history of the area around Pittsburgh, Tx.

I'm having trouble with posts again and the space issues. I have had to shrink these photos down in size even more and putting a post together is becoming quite a chore. Not happy about this. May be starting new blog soon. Will post a link if I do.

Cool museum!
I love looking at all that old stuff,but it makes me very thankful to be living in a modern age.
In terms of comfort and convenience, I agree with Ruth's comment ... but aren't these items just wonderful all the same? Oh, and I love the chicken pic! A(nother) lovely post, Mary.
That is a really interesting place! That cotton bale brought back memories, as did lots of the stuff. Love the old organ!
However did a fireless cooker work??
I sat a school desk like that one too!
Now this is MY kind of museum! What a marvelous place it is. Love all the railroadiana too. Of course I love the chicken farming display. How cool. I once had a school desk like this one.Lots of good oldies here. I would like to try my hand at cooking on a wood stove sometime.

What a fascinating train depot museum! They had a lot of great items from that era....and the shootout sure was interesting too. :-) Sorry abt the re-sizing of the pictures. That's so annoying!
