SkyWatch Friday.....evening clouds, morning clouds

(Nature post for today below this one)
It's Friday, so it must be time to look at the sky!
Last night I looked at the late evening clouds as the sun was going down.

This morning, I looked at the daytime clouds....

The skies are beautiful right now!

Outside the front door....

I could get spoiled just looking out the front door every day to see what I can take a photo of so my blog won't be empty! I solemnly promise when the tennis open is over to get outside and go somewhere soon....really....I will.Hummingbird "cross"
Hummer ......still there

Hummer......must be good

Young cardinal peeking out of the leaves

I think she sees me.......and her look says, "go away...I'm hungry!"

Guess who?

Who's there....

Who's that hiding in the vine?
The daddy Goldfinch knows!

Can't see the bird for the tree....

My "vine tree" is doing so well right now, it is hard to see the birds when they land! This little chickadee was nice enough to pick the one spot that I could see clearly. Cutie amid the beauty :-)

I call this one "Chick with Halo"

Oops....the halo image is slipping here.

This Goldfinch was sitting above the flowers.
Titmouse getting some suet scraps from the roof of the bird feeder.

The flowers are very thick and mostly grow upwards.

....But long stragglers hang downward that I run into every time I fill the feeders. Bees love them.

Not much......tennis time again :-)

It's the US Tennis Open time.....so don't expect a lot from me for a while. I may get out to take photos somewhere......or I may just sit and watch tennis on TV! I found this Monarch caterpillar on a broken leaf on my "vine tree" out front. I took photos and then put the leaf back on top of another larger leaf. Will check tomorrow and see if it is still around. I hope it makes a chrysalis somewhere and I get to watch. I'm enjoying watching Becky's at Woodynook Creations! Go there if you want to watch a day by day event!
Mike took this shot last Thursday....and never downloaded the photos. I liked this one.

He took this one, too.
