Hey....I finished up 2 of my UFO's (see early January list)!! (Take that, Blog Monster!) ......Bella's Butterfly quilt and my Angel quilt for the guild to take to the local hospital are officially finished.
Bella's Butterlies

I found a lovely spring flower print that was perfect for the back and wish I had found it to use in the front also.....oh, well. Can't wait to deliver it in March.
The Angel quilt is simple, but at least I got one done!
Now I am back to working on the quilt from the class I took. I call it "2 Scoops, please....Carmel Nut Sundae and Chip Mint." I finished the main body of the quilt today.....all the A and B blocks are sewn together (and reasonably square with corners matched!) Now I have to add two small inner borders and the beautiful outer border with the points and peaks. When I get this close it gets exciting instead of work :-)

Even though it has an "ice cream" name....since that was the theme for the class......I think it looks "woodsy" and would love to applique some animals in the outer border or add a bird or something! However, I'm not good at applique.....haven't done much. Maybe I can do something like that on the back :-) I don't make decisions very far in advance......when I see the current part finished, I make the next decision.
